Here is the patriotic Carpenter Star
Ready to longArm this block of the month. Pattern is Treasure chest from Eleanor Burns. The directions teach the techniques and are so clear and easy to use. My Quilt Guild is the Inland Empire Quilt Guild IEQG and we did this as a block of the month quilt.

The Inland Empire Quilt Guild has some wonderful and fun sew days. Yesterday was our sew day for Charity Quilts. I was so happy to find beautiful stack and whack blocks already to be made into a quilt. Here is a picture of it. If you live near Corona, CA, our guild meets at 7pm on the second and fourth Monday of the month at the Corona Senior Center on Belle Ave in Corona. We love having new members and the 4th meeting of the month we have speakers. come and join us and let us all have fun with you.
Just returned from vacation in PA and MD. What fun I had and love that area of the country. Here are a few pictures of my latest quilt projects.

well I have been having fun knitting golf club covers. Here is a picture of the red covers I made for the Holidays. They are a big hit at the golf courses and so soft and furry. They are made of fun fur and acrylic so they wash like a dream and get more furry the older they get. I have had several customers and they sell for $18.00 each plus shipping and tax. E-Mail me if you are interested in them and let me know what color you want. I made bright blue ones with varigated yarn on the bottom, red ones with white on the bottom, hot pink with black on the bottom, and lime green with white on the bottom or sock part.

I used fun fur for this poncho and it is beautiful. I also use this yarn for my golf club covers and they are really soft and furry.

Here are some pictures of my latest QOV, finished today. I chose the contemporary Baptist Fan because the quilting will not detract from the quilt. Blind veterans love to feel the waves of the Baptist Fan and it always looks on the patriotic quilts. The picture of the pink quilt on the top of my page is of a Memorial Quilt for a female veteran. I loved doing it and pray it gave comfort to her family.
