Wonderful Speaker at IEQG guild meeting Monday night.

Our speaker for the month was Grace J. Errea. She shared her progress in quilting from a new begginer to an amazing quilt designer, quilter and teacher.
She spoke about color, hew, values and how to use this knowledge to create wonderful quilts. Her work is amazing and her website is http://www.amazingquiltsbygrace.com.

You can see her work and learn more about her at her website. She had a trunk show and the quilts are outstanding. It truely made me realize I have more learning to do regarding color, value and all the rest. I hope you enjoy her quilts as much as I did.  One of my goals for this year is to do more work with color and make several quilts using different colors, hews, and values but the same pattern.  The difference is amazing and I do have much more to do and learn.

Today,  I am busy today quilting on my longarm and learning more about value.  I have several quilts to work on and with the little rain due today I am going to have a great quilt day.  I also have many UFO’s to work on and as I do, I will be sharing them with you.  Please let us know what you are working on and share any learnings you have.  This is how we all grow and learn in our quilt community.
Have a great day.

Thought for the Day!

I love this, hope you have a blessed day!!

My verse for the day

I need to remember this daily, hope you enjoy!!
“I commit you to God and to the Word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32 NIV)

Another knitting project

I made this sweater and hat for my Grandson but he wanted toys (2 year old) so I didn’t get a picture of him in it. He carried it around all day but would not wear it. Hope that meant he did like it. He does go sailing a lido with his parents. I made this on my Knitking knitting machine 340.
